Is RiRi in Love with the CoCo or Was Her Privacy Invaded?
Written by Afterparty South on 16 April 2015
Well, well, well, we’re used to Rihanna being a bit of a wild child but now it seems to be taken to a whole other level. In a video that has become very public, the pop star is purportedly snorting something from her hand. Hmmm, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?
Of course, everybody is accusing her of being a cocaine user, but RiRi in true Rihanna fashion has come out vehemently and denied the claims and blasted the guy that publicized it.
In part, she said, “Any fool could see that’s a joint that I’m basing with cigarette! Who snorts tobacco??!! FOH witcho ‘never been to a rodeo so someone squeezing their nose means they’re doing coke’ lookin ass!!”
Let’s not get into the whole “drugs are bad” thing, we can save that for another day but let’s touch on privacy and namely, invasion of privacy. Though public now, this seems to have been a private affair where it was just her and her people kicking back. Now, that moment is blasted all over the Internet for the world to see, question, judge and analyze.
Even as a celebrity, isn’t she entitled to some type of privacy? Although, it seems as if she was out in public, it seems to be a private function. Or maybe she brought it on herself. If she was snorting coke, she could’ve excused herself and went to the bathroom. That’s what most people do. But hey, Rihanna isn’t most people.
What do you think? Was this an invasion of privacy? If a celebrity is in public, should they expect any semblance of privacy?
