Is It Possible to Still Love Someone Even if You Cheat Continuously?
Written by Afterparty South on 27 April 2016
With the release of Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” album, infidelity has been thrust into the spotlight due to Bey’s strong lyrics and raw emotion. Many people are debating whether or not it’s ever forgivable and if so, under which circumstances. From listening to the album, it seems almost every song is alluding to her hubby’s continuous infidelity. Yet, Bey seems to take him back time after time. This has listeners piping up with, “It’s unbelievable that she can still be with him; she’s Beyoncé,” after all the heartache that’s dripping in her latest songs.
Let’s say Jay-Z is a serial cheater, is it possible that he still loves Bey first and foremost, but just isn’t capable of being monogamous? There does, after all, seem to be a subset of people, men and women alike, who can be in a seemingly committed relationship but for one reason or another, they can’t seem to remain faithful. Is it something that’s beyond their control or is it just an excuse not to be faithful?
Weigh in and let us know your real thoughts on cheating. Is it ever forgivable? Is there ever an excuse? When is the point of no return? #TellUsHowYouReallyFeel
