I Wanna Dance With Somebody – Whitney Houston
Whitney Houston – released this gem in 1987. The song received mixed reviews from critics citing that it sounded like Houston’s “How Will I Know” and Cyndi Lauper’s, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”. Later the song won the Grammy award for “Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female”. Guess she proved the naysayers wrong! Bloop!
Thriller – Michael Jackson
The 1983 hit Thriller is famed for its spooky ingeniousness. Even after thirty years, this horror- style video is famed all over the world for its dancing zombies. Michael Jackson has released some stunning music videos which always boast incredible dance sequences, making MJ not only the king of pop but also the king of music videos too.
Walk This Way – RUN-D.M.C. and Aerosmith
RUN-DMC were the masters of mash-ups and spun this chart-topping version of Aerosmith’s rock tune. The video portrays the two rap artists as loud neighbors before Steven Tyler bursts through their wall to sing the chorus line.
