Show of hands if you witnessed the first episode of the new hit reality show “Preachers of LA” starring 5 of Los Angeles’ high profile Pastors. A heated discussion ended the show between Bishop Clarence McClendon and controversial Pastor Detrick Haddon, over whether or not Pastors should charge an honorarium when doing God’s work. Bishop Mcclendon stated that when he travels and takes his “entourage” with him he expects to be paid a significant amount for those services. Pastor Haddon disagreed stating that “Doing the work of the Lord should be free of charge” and even went further by stating, God anointed the ministers not their entourage and the smaller churches need the ministry the same as a mega church. What are your thoughts? In case you missed the show, catch the full episode here.
