On August 25, 2001, the world lost one of its young, promising stars, Aaliyah Dana Haughton, simply known as Aaliyah to her legion of fans. As Jay-Z so aptly put it in his ode to her, the world’s been missing her, the game ain’t been the same since she left us. Since her premature death, her loyal fans wonder about the heights she would’ve reached and all the possibilities this amazing singer, dancer, actress and model could’ve accomplished. Even for her 22 years on this Earth, she touched the hearts of so many with her melodious voice, skillful dance moves, daring style, classic beauty, class and humility.
