Tha Afterparty Radio Featured Artist of the Week — C-Nile
Written by Afterparty South on 28 August 2018
While C-Nile has taken a slight hiatus from recording his own music, he’s still very much active in the game, setting the next stage of his career. Basically born into the spotlight since his mother was performing while pregnant with him, C-Nile can trace his lineage of artistry to his parents. With a self-described Reality/Street/Gumbo sound, C-Nile’s style has especially resonated with North and South Texas fans. Whether creating his own sound or working with a variety of artists on their projects, C-Nile has enjoyed being in the presence of legends like UGK, Screwed Up Click, South Park Coalition, the Rap-A-Lot family and more. Some of the highlights of his career, according to C-Nile, “working in radio, chopping up game with people in my time spent on the West Coast going to the Grammys and BET Awards of the mid-2000s.” Recently, he has been networking, doing promo, engineering, A&R work, co-writing, and “just sharing game with a lot of people while on my musical journey, cameoing in videos, shows etc.” Since he’s been away for a minute, C-Nile wants his fans “to get the history, growth and balance back from my music.”
