BAPs Ready to Show Up and Show Out (In Style, of course)

Written by on 13 August 2014

You know that one friend or family member that’s always a little too upper crust for everybody? The one that you might call “uppity” or “bourgeois?” Well, they probably don’t have nothing on the newest “BAPs” on the block. “BAPs” is the hottest new reality show on Lifetime Network that shows the world how these St. Louis Black American Princes or Princesses really live and get down. If you think it’s all about caviar, expensive bottles of wine and Cartier, boy, oh boy, are you in for a surprise. Each hour-long episode will show how these black folk may be in the upper echelon and dressed to the nines, but they still know how to get a little hood when it’s called for. And suffice it to say, it’s called for quite a bit.

This group, Anisha, Kristen, Gina, Jason, Riccarda and Brandon, are ready to switch it up at the fling of an Hermes scarf. One minute you’re feeling the love and camaraderie and the next – you might want to duck. There’s no end to the amount of drama, histrionics, heartache, and of course, the humor sprinkled all up and through. Friends turned into mortal enemies, alliances being formed and broken on a whim, this show has it all. As each group member is vying to be the most beautiful, the most successful or the most respected, a couple of wrenches get thrown into the game by the names of Kendrick, Anisha’s boyfriend, and his niece, Rai-Rai, who want to give them the taste and feel of a non-BAP.

And Tha Afterparty Radio has you covered for everything BAPs and BAPs-related. We’re gonna get you the scoop and help you find out all the ins and outs from the cast members themselves.
