Woman Gets Super Glued to Toilet in Home Depot
Written by on 10 December 2013
A Georgia woman endured the butt of a cruel prank (pun intended). After visiting a Home Depot and using their bathroom facilities, the woman found herself super glued to the toilet.
Illyanna De La Keur, 40, of Banks County, did not realize that someone had placed Loctite glue along the toilet seat as a prank. When Keur tried to get up, she found that she was indeed stuck. She says that it took over 25 minutes for someone to come to her aid, and over an hour for the paramedics to get her free.
Now the irony in this situation is that Keur is upset at how she was aided. She felt that she should not have been freed from the toilet seat while still in the store, instead opting for removal in a hospital. Her reason? “The bathroom is unsanitary,” she said. “There were people in there. There were men in there. Everybody was sticking their head in. And here I am with somebody rubbing WD-40 on me and pulling me loose from the seat.”
First thing’s first: Why did you even put you butt on the toilet seat in the first place?! You didn’t think about whether or not that seat was sanitary before you used it. So why in all things common sense, does it matter now?I guess the will be a lesson to you, and everyone else that wasn’t taught the art of squatting as a child,to not sit on public seats anymore…
Update:
De La Keur says she is still recovering injuries she sustained during the November 27 incident and finds it extremely difficult to walk.
Authorities, meanwhile, are still searching for the culprit.
An open bottle of Loctite GO2 glue was discovered in a “brown paper sack” on thebathroom floor by store manager Mary Dean.
According to Dean, two other toilets seat were also covered in “what appeared to be some kind of glue.”
