In Case You Missed It: Chance the Rapper the Breakout of 2017 Grammys

He did what nobody had ever done before in the history of the Grammys – Chance the Rapper won three of the coveted awards without a physical album, but instead the streaming-only “Coloring Book.” The Chicago rapper won Grammys for Best New Artist, Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance. In the spotlight, Chance brought everything that fans have grown to love about him over the past couple of years to the national stage with his contagious excitement, humility and strong faith. With a rousing, exuberant mash-up of “How Great”/ “All We Got”, Chance, along with Kirk Franklin, Tamela Mann and a full choir, took the Grammys and the audience to church and then some. It has quickly been recognized as one of the best performances of the night. Check it out below:
