Being a Product of Your Environment & Stereotypes on “Uncommon Cents” this Wed.

Written by on 28 March 2017

Whether you grew up in the ‘burbs, the ‘hood or in the country, there’s certain ways of life that connect the people in your community. This can also lead to a number of stereotypes about people in these particular areas. For good or bad, these stereotypes can follow you through life no matter how you may try to shake them off, and persistent stereotypes can be a hindrance when people regularly prejudge you based on your upbringing. Or, what about the people who just fall victim to the worst elements and become a product of their environment? This week, The Uncommon Cents Show will discuss the challenges of being a product of your environment and associated stereotypes. Call in to 972-591-8272 on Wednesday on the A side from 8 to 10 p.m. See ya at the party!
