Singing since the tender age of 3 and involved in the industry since the age of 9, singer Taushey Sias’ voice is truly a gift from above. Straddling the lines of Gospel Jazz, Traditional Gospel, and Prophetic Worship, Taushey describes her sound as “Powerful, versatile, [with] a mixture of Kim Burrell, The Clark Sisters with a Sias stank on it (laughing).” Taushey’s latest single, “You Never Left Me,” is also featured on Maurice Griffin’s, from “Sunday Best,” “I’ll Keep Fighting” and additionally, Taushey sings background vocals on his latest single “Judah.” Some of the biggest milestones of her career so far have included working with Fred Hammond in the studio for his tour, singing in her first movie called, “A Man Called Jon” with Irma P. Hall from the movie, “Soul Food,” and directing her first video for her new single, “You Never Left Me,” which is due out soon. She’s also worked with Tamela Mann, Shirley Caesar, Myron Butler, Kierra Sheard and to name a few. A big part of Taushey’s music is leaving her fans with some inspiration to make life’s journey a little bit easier. “I will like for my fans to be inspired, encouraged and uplifted through my music. I write from a place of experience. I’m as real as it comes, very transparent. Don’t give up on your dreams/goals in life. Every trial or circumstance you are facing is not to break you but to help you make you stronger than before.”
